Pisi ehe jewelry is named after the doctors and nurses who helped us on the journey of our premature (born 26+1) baby Susanna. But not all of them.
This paw-shaped pendant was called Paw for a long time. It existed, but I knew it was waiting for its real story.
A few months ago, our indoor cat Suusi decided that the children's play tunnel was the perfect place for a proper zoomies. A small slip and it was clear that "it will pass on its own" would not be the case this time.
I sent a four-second video to our cat's doctor, Maris. She watched it and gave a diagnosis faster than I could panic: a torn cruciate ligament. A complex surgical operation and several months of recovery, during which the cat is not allowed to jump. And well, a price tag that makes you either cry or laugh. I laughed, a little hysterically, because the price was huge. But Suusi the cat is my first baby, let's do it!
The surgery was done and we hoped for peace. But Suusi decided at night that the wound also needed a personal follow-up check, with teeth. She managed to bend the collar so skillfully that she could still get to the wound! A sleepless night and crying, I wrote to Maris. On the weekend, more out of despair than hope.
The answer came. And also an invitation to come to the clinic! Even though the clinic was closed! Because real caring doesn't look at the clock or the calendar. From that moment on, this pendant was no longer just a paw. It was named Maris. A paw that holds, helps and is there, always!
