Pisi ehe jewelry is named after the doctors and nurses who helped us on the journey of our premature (born 26+1) baby Susanna.

We met Julia, the speech therapist, in the neonatology department, after I had brought my baby Susanna to my ward. I think Julia came to check on how the baby is getting on with feeding from a bottle. The baby got praise, I got praise. Julia asked permission to film us at the next check up and show the footage to her students as an example of a good feeding pace. Eee, what?

Us and filming? It was a very proud feeling. We can be good at something too, wow! If only I had known in advance that in 6 months we would meet Julia again and work together to make the child drink at least 1ml from the bottle.

In January, Susanna and I were admitted to the hospital. The reason was that she was not eating. The situation was that Susanna started screaming as soon as she saw the bottle. She wouldn't even open her mouth. At home, we were constantly in communication with the child's doctor and when she managed to get only 200ml into her stomach during the 24h, it was clear that it was time to go and seek help.

The phrase "baby doesn't starve herself", hahaha. We tried, under supervision for about 16 hours. She did not make any sound about wanting to eat.

Julia was always so motivated. When all sorts of bugs, viruses and reflux were ruled out, I felt a little disappointed that it was a psychological problem. You can give her medicine for a virus but not for a psychological problem. "The baby will start to eat, we'll find a suitable bottle and position". And all sorts of new gadgets that Julia had with her! One time Julia managed to feed the baby 70ml at a time. 70ml! I was very jealous, to be honest!

However, the baby Susanna had her own plans. Susanna had her last bottle at 7 months old. We came home with NG-tube. We fed her all the breastmilk by spoon. By spoon! Her eating is still poor and we are still struggling with it, but we can manage. It's so great to think in retrospect that the time when Julia was trying hard to get Susanna to eat, her third baby was secretly growing in her belly.
